Our Design Brief
" We need a modern fresh website for our upcoming annual conference.
There is a basic requirement to maximise value in this project if we can to make
the best of our web design budget, can you give us some ideas?"
Our Solution
We created a simple
but professionally finished CSS based web site layout design to contain the
graphic design elements and to provide maximum flexibility for the introducing
dynamic function.
Further to the brief spec we added Integrated dynamic registration form,
e-commerce payment collection and CMS (Content Management System) to produce a
well-received, fresh and effective website that greatly assisted with the
organisation and administration of the annual conference.
It is intended that this website will be entered for consideration in upcoming design and implementation competitions to showcase the innovative approach and features implemented.

PSI Conference web design project
The organisation of conferences is heavy in administration and organisation, and
key to delivering a good service is the production of a good conference support
website. With a number of conferences planned for the coming 24 months the
Psychological Society of Ireland approached Active Online for assistance in
defining a specification and delivering a website infrastructure and
web design that could be easily
reconfigured and re-used by PSI staff for a number of upcoming conferences.
After conferring with key administration staff, a functional web design specification was put-in place and agreed to produce a completely White-label able website with fully integrated CMS, such that investment could be offset over a number of events. The design had to be fresh and somewhat future proof such that it's useable life would extend over a number of years.

customisable dynamic elements (slideshow, form building, page creation,
e-commerce connectivity) with a fully integrated CMS back-end.
