Pride and Mental Health

To coincide with June being Pride month, the Psychological Society of Ireland is delighted to present this free talk.

Presented via Zoom by PSI Council member Dr Ger McNamara, this is a presentation on mental health within the LGBTQ+ community and will focus on self-compassion. It will include a talk about areas of focus for attendees to mind their mental health. This talk is for members of the LGBTQ+ community, but allies are also welcome to attend.


Ger is a clinical psychologist working in adult mental health. She has a special interest in LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy, both in clinical practice and research. She has worked with LGBTQ+ community groups nationally.
