The Division of Educational Psychology promotes best practice in Educational Psychology by providing a forum for the sharing of knowledge and expertise among Educational Psychologists.
The Division strives to raise the profile of the discipline of Educational Psychology among organisations and individuals and to promote a better understanding of the role and work of the Educational Psychologist.

Membership of the Division of Educational Psychology (DEP)
Applicants for membership of the Division of Educational Psychology must hold existing Graduate Membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
Full Membership
This is available to psychologists who hold a postgraduate professional qualification in Educational Psychology recognised by the Society. Upon application please include a copy of your transcript certificate for your Educational Psychology Post-Graduate Qualification and a copy of your Certificate awarded from your Masters or Doctorate in Educational Psychology.
Associate Membership
This is available to students of a postgraduate training course in Educational Psychology
Or
That they are, at the time of application, working in the area of Educational Psychology as recognised by the Division Committee.
If you obtained your qualification in Educational Psychology outside of the Republic of Ireland, please email the DEP membership secretary, Dr. Caitriona Martyn, at education@psychologicalsociety.ie, prior to applying for DEP membership
